Well the website has launched, the social media pages have been setup and the YouTube cannel is being put into place.
Can I just start off by saying that it takes FOREVER to setup a webpage! Now I know what you are thinking…. The ad’s say that you can set up a great website in minutes. Well I must be the exception to the rule because my website took about a year. I like to blame my creative track; I find that I switch from idea to idea very quickly. Once one idea looks like it will not work with my current vision I switch it up and change the entire thing. I think in total I went through eight different looks for the webpage and countless content and editorial changes.
And the content! As a new start-up business what do you put onto a webpage and in what order. How much is too much and how much is not enough? This is something that had me stumped for a very long time. I am more of a layout and make things pretty type of person, so to write all the content for the website took great determination and perseverance. The photo’s I had some help with, so that wasn’t as much of a headache as I thought it was going to be.
With the webpage out of the way and a schedule for social media postings I think the next major project to work on is my monthly YouTube videos. I am a little iffy on the content of these videos; I think the intent will be to show the public what is involved in bespoke tailoring and what you get when you have something that is custom made. I still have time to figure that out though, so I will keep you all posted.
For now stay tuned on my social media links for projects and work that I am doing.
